Hello!
I'm Mayra Martinez, LCSW-S
I'm a bilingual Hispanic/Latina psychotherapist that speaks Spanish and English.
I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with emotional challenges that come with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, body image struggles, relationship issues, and the lasting impact of childhood wounds.
I also provide counseling for women newly diagnosed with breast cancer or those in remission-holding space for the complex emotions that often come with that journey.
My Approach
Therapy with me is a safe, compassionate space where you can show up just as you are. I believe healing happens in connection-when someone sees you, hears you, and walks alongside you through the hard stuff. That's what I aim to do.
My clinical approach is humanistic, warm, and tailored to you. Some days that might look like processing deep emotional pain; other days it's finding small ways to breathe easier, to feel more grounded, or to connect with your inner strength. I stay present through it all-your pain, your breakthroughs, your doubt, and your growth.
I'm here to help you reconnect with yourself-your thoughts, your emotions, your voice-and to build resilience as you navigate life's challenges. Together, we can explore what's been holding you back and help you move toward healing, clarity, and a deeper sense of self. Like a cactus plant, you can become resilient, you can grow from within despite your environments, and you can thrive under the most uncertain circumstances. Healing is about resilience, growth and thriving.
If you're ready to begin this journey-or even just curious-I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
