FAQs

What languages do you speak?

I am fluent in both Spanish and English.

Are your sessions virtual or in-person?

Beginning April 2026, all sessions will be virtual only. A secure HIPPA Compliant link will be emailed to you upon scheduling.

How does it work? What do I have to do in sessions?

We first set you up for an intake session, where you will meet the counselor for the first time and discuss your treatment goals and concerns. This is where I, as your counselor, will gather history information about you to better understand how to help you. There is homework assigned after each session, which will be discussed during the following session. You are not required to bring anything other than your authentic self.

How long will therapy take?

Unfortunately, this is not possible to say in a general FAQs page. Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of time counseling can take to allow you to accomplish your goals depends on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek counseling in the first place.

What kind of therapy do you offer?

I offer individual therapy to adults only. I do not work with couples nor minors.

I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

How do payments work?

If you are making payments in cash or by credit card, you will make payments after the session, or be processed later that night. You can opt for auto-charge after each session. Please discuss this with the counselor.

What is your No Show fee?

Yes, I do charge a one-time fee of $50 for all no-shows. Cancellations are not charged.
