My style is warm, humanistic and person centered. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, where I utilize a variety of techniques that honor your unique needs.

Optional Phone Consultation

This is an optional step, but recommended if you are new, and/or have questions for me. When I do these calls, I find it works well if you tell me a bit more about what brings you to therapy and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. Then, I'll tell you about my practice and skill set. If for some reason, I'm not the right fit, or you are looking for something different, I'm happy to help you work through the process of finding someone who is the right fit for you. 

Phone consultations last about 10-15 minutes. 

Next Steps

If you have agreed to work with me, I will email you the next steps to get us started. The Next Steps include information and access to your client portal where you will review the following: consent forms, demographic information, payment methods, and insurance or self pay processes. 

Intake

We finally get to meet whether you choose to be virtual or in-person! You do not need to bring anything for our intake- come as you are. I will ask and inquire about your history, what brings you to therapy at this time, and goals. At the ending of the intake, I will provide you with an overview of your homework. (And yes, homework is involved. Woo-Hoo to personal growth!)
